Long time lurker, first time poster. I was lucky enough to get Insanity Max:30 over Christmas and I couldn't wait to try it out. I'd previously completed Insanity twice through and thoroughly enjoyed the arse-kicking it handed me (I lost 10Kg/20(ish)lbs through the program) and thought Max:30 would be an excellent next step.
Here I am on day 3 of and I’m met with Sweat Intervals for the first time in the Insanity Max Challenge. I am really sore from yesterday’s Tabata Power workout. Nonetheless I pushed through and did the best I could. Day 3 Sweat IntervalsWith a name like Sweat Intervals you can be sure of what is to come.

And to top that off Shaun T starts the workout with his famous line “I’m nervous for this workout”. So right out of the gates I’m intimidated but ready for what he has in store for me today. I got through the warm up with no issues and started off pretty strong once we got to the workout. But I crashed shortly after. I MAXED OUT today at 8:00 on the nose. And there was nothing more I could give at that point.
There is a lot of squats and plyo in this routine so it makes for a fun little 30 minute adventure. I had to take many more breaks today compared to the other days but that’s due to being sore and trying to increase my intensity. I did finish the workout strong and on a high note.

I finished with 463 calories burned which for some reason feels low, but like I said I took more breaks today. I think every single one of our Insanity Max 30 challengers is sore right now and this is where we have got to just keep on pushing through the pain!Tomorrow we revisit Tabata Power so I’ll have the opportunity to increase my max out time in that workout.Day 3 Sweat Intervals MAX OUT Time: 8:00Day 3 Sweat Intervals Calorie Burn: 463 Day 3 Sweat Intervals NutritionIt’s only day 3 of but my seems to holding fairly well for me. I like to keep things as simple as possible. For dinner today I decided on one of my favorite recipes called “Spicy Turkey Chili”. It’s so tasty and what’s even better is the recipe makes enough for days on end so I’ll have it packed and ready to go for later in the week.
